Job Opportunity with Sindh Rural Support Organization (SRSO)
Sindh Rural Support Organization (SRSO), a non-profit organization registered under the Companies Act 2017, is inviting applications from skilled and enthusiastic individuals for the position of Field Engineer. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with qualifications in civil engineering and related fields who are eager to work in rural communities.
Eligibility Criteria:
Education: Candidates must have one of the following degrees from an HEC-recognized institution:
BE in Civil Engineering or Architecture
BS in Civil Engineering
B-Tech in Civil Engineering
DAE in Civil Engineering
Experience: Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. However, experienced professionals are also welcomed.
Location: Positions are available in districts including Khairpur, Larkana, Kamber Shahdadkot, Shikarpur, and Jacobabad. Selected individuals will be assigned to rural areas within these districts.
Additional Requirements:
Candidates must possess their own motorcycle. The organization will provide fuel allowances but no transportation.
Compensation and Incentives:
SRSO offers a competitive salary package along with fuel allowances. The salary structure varies depending on qualifications:
BE in Civil Engineering: PKR 50,000 + PKR 15,000 (fuel allowance)
B-Tech and BS Civil: PKR 45,000 + PKR 15,000 (fuel allowance)
DAE in Civil: PKR 40,000 + PKR 15,000 (fuel allowance)
Additional rewards will be provided based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
The Field Engineer will play a crucial role in community development and reconstruction projects, including:
1. Community Engagement:
Guide and assist "Village Reconstruction Committee" members on construction guidelines for resilient housing.
Discuss designs tailored for housing units, particularly for vulnerable and disabled individuals.
2. Quality Assurance:
Supervise on-ground construction, ensuring compliance with housing reconstruction standards.
Verify completion of each phase, including plinth, lintel, and roof levels.
3. Technical Support:
Conduct physical inspections of housing units and verify construction progress.
Coordinate with local masons to ensure adherence to reconstruction protocols.
4. Reporting:
Prepare and submit weekly reports on progress, challenges, and achievements.
